The Wyandotte Wedding Chapel Venue
VENUE INFORMATION
The chapel accommodates up to 125 guests. The chapel is open by appointment only. Please e-mail the chapel (wyandotteweddings@gmail.com) for more information.
Weddings may be scheduled through the Chapel Coordinator. Your reservation will be confirmed and placed on our calendar upon receipt of your signed reservation form, $500 retainer fee and $100 (refundable) security deposit, provided that the chapel is available the day and time of your request. You may make payments on the balance at any time, however the balance of the rental fee is due (30) thirty days prior to your wedding date.
CLERGY
The rental fee and agreement does not include honoraria for clergy, musicians, or other additional contracted services. It is the responsibility of the bridal couple to arrange for ordained clergy or other official to perform the service. A resource list will be provided of suggested vendors for your consideration.
BRIDAL SUITE
A simply dedicated two-room suite for the bride and her bridal party. One room dedicated to the bride with a makeup table and full-length mirror and a restroom dedicated for her use. The second room has a full-length makeup table, mirror, and outlets giving a spacious area for prepping prior to your ceremony.
FELLOWSHIP HALL
A large area with simple charm. Fully decorated with tables and chairs sitting under charming strings of lights that hang from the ceiling, creating a soft celebratory atmosphere as couples prepare for their ceremony. An area to welcome important guests prior to the ceremony and take photos with the bride and/or bridal party, with two restrooms available for guest use. Also includes a large kitchen area that doubles as the groom's quarters and a small area for children to entertain as last-minute preparations are made before the ceremony. It is a great common space that is only limited by your imagination on how it is used.
RESTRICTIONS
Furnishings and fixtures are considered permanent and may NOT be moved to another room or removed from the building or borrowed for another event for any purpose. This includes all the fixtures in the chapel building. Please contact staff if you would like to discuss options.
To preserve the beauty of the chapel and furnishings you may NOT use nails, hooks, tacks, screws, masking tape, florist putty, scotch-tape or staples in or outside the chapel. Do not use rice (kills the birds), birdseed (causes weeds to grow in the chapel lawn), or confetti (trash) to throw at the bride and groom while inside the chapel or on property.
