Who may be married at these Venues?

These Venues are open to the entire community.  They are open, welcoming, and affirming to all couples. Providing a welcoming and safe experience for the couple, family and friends is core to their mission.

Can these Venues by used for Vow Renewals, Funerals, Memorial Services, Handfasting Ceremonies?

Yes – all types of Life / Milestone passing Ceremonies.
Vow Renewals, Baptisms, Memorial Services, Engagement Ceremonies, Quinceañeras, Naming Ceremonies, Handfasting Ceremonies.

How far out do Venues Book?

Typically, Venues book 12-24 months in advance.

Who is the chapel’s officiant? Can I bring my own officiant?

Our Resident Officiant is Mr. John Truitt.  He has been Officiating  weddings and ceremonies for over 30 years.  We have other officiants which are a delight to work with as well.

Yes you can bring your own Officiant!

What do I need to reserve my wedding date?

Venues typically ask for for 1/3 to 1/2 of the larger packages to hold the date and time.
Also there will be a contract, perhaps a photo release and hold harmless forms to review and sign.

What if I need to reschedule/cancel my date?

Review the Venue’s policy.  Generally there are timetables for full or partial refunds of the deposit, the entire fee.  There typically can be some waiving of policies if there is a life event that would prevent a Wedding from taking place.

What is included in the chapel rental fee?

This depends on the package purchased. Please refer to the Fee and Services sections of the website.

Can I take a tour of the Venues?

How many people do the venues seat?

The Venues have different capacities.   All can hold up to 130 comfortably.  The largest can hold over 300 guests.

Can my flower person toss flower petals down the aisle? Can we decorate with flower petals?

You are welcome to decorate with satin flower petals and have a flower person toss petals. Please keep in mind that your party will be responsible for picking up ALL petals. It is up to the wedding party to ensure the chapel looks as it did when you arrived.

Can wagons/strollers be pulled/pushed down the aisle?

Yes, but they must be removed immediately after they are used and not block any walkways or aisles. No motorized toy vehicles are allowed as part of the ceremony.

Unity Ceremony - Can we use a Unity Candle, Sand Ceremony or other type of Unity Ceremony?

Yes, there are many type of Unity Ceremonies. Creating your own unique one is welcome.  Discuss with your Officiant.  Be mindful of using materials that may stain or damage clothing, carpet, etc.

However, ceremonies that may damage the facility are not allowed – such as unity paintings.

Are there decorations for my wedding?

Venues may or may not have decorations that you can use.  Discuss that during the tour.  For the venues that are active congregations – seasonal, liturgical decorations may or may not be able to be moved or changed.

When may I arrive at the Venue?

Depending on the Wedding Package typically:

  • Small – Signature 30 minutes before the ceremony start time
  • Medium – Intimate  45 minutes before the ceremony start time
  • Full – 60 minutes before the ceremony.

This includes photographers, videographers, florist, coordinators.

Review carefully with the Venue – Arrival Time, Ceremony Start Time and Departure Time.

Can I arrive to the dressing rooms earlier so that I can start getting ready sooner?

Check with the Venue.  There maybe additional fees.
